Pain with the lunge? You are not broken!

So we know that stopping training due to pain is almost never the answer. If you have pain with the lunge, we want to build up some resilience by continuing to load the system in a modified way that isn’t provocative and allows us to maintain a training effect. The idea is that through graded exposure and pushing the edge of discomfort, we will desensitize the system to the desired movement pattern. . . . So after a qualified healthcare practitioner dives into your training and finds the proper variable to modify (load, volume, intensity, range of motion, etc.), which can be different for everyone, give these lunge modifications a shot! . .
